Discover Africa Workshop
Amboseli, Samburu and Maasai Mara
Capture the untamed beauty of Africa’s majestic landscapes and witness the breathtaking wildlife in their natural habitat. From the iconic savannahs of the Maasai Mara and Amboseli to the picturesque hills of Samburu, every moment is a photo opportunity waiting to be seized.
Led by Simon d’Entremont and with the help of excellent photographer and videopgrapher Andreas Knausenberger who lives in Kenya, this 12-day trip will offer unparalleled access to Kenya’s most sought-after destinations and hidden gems. Whether you’re an amateur enthusiast or a seasoned photographer, the itinerary is tailored to cater to all skill levels, ensuring you return home with stunning images and unforgettable memories.
Your responsibility will be to arrange air travel to Nairobi, Kenya on the 21st of Sept. The hotel will pick you up at NBO, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, for transfer to the hotel. We’ll all be staying at the Tamarind Tree Hotel (excellent place), just next door to the Wilson airport, serving all the camps in that area. This will allow us to get to Wilson Airport early the next morning for our flight to Amboseli.
Ride to airport and charter flight to Wilson Airport (25kg weight and soft bag limit per person) in time to catch departing flights leaving NBO and leaving Kenya (recommend booking departing flight in afternoon).
I’ll provide taxi travel from Wilson Airport to NBO for international flights.
It’s your responsibility to arrange travel home from NBO on Oct 3rd.
Price is in Canadian dollars and is $20,900 CDN per person for double occupancy (roughly $15,200 USD equivalent at time of writing). Preferred method of payment is bank wire transfer. Other methods to be arranged on case by case basis.
Single room supplement is $3400 Canadian.
15% HST is applicable to Canadian Residents
I’m only taking 6 people on this tour.
Please note that all cancellations are only effective once confirmed in writing. All refunds are subject to commission and/or bank charges. Should the deposit/prepayment not be received within the time frame, the booking will have to be cancelled.
It’s important to me that you never be at a financial risk, so I recommend travel insurance for the trip. It’s important that you not wait for just before the trip to get this, as once you provide a non-refundable deposit (which I need because those are the terms of my suppliers), you could be at risk. As such, get travel insurance concurrently with providing any deposits.
Note: Simon d’Entremont Nature Photography Limited cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred due to factors beyond my control. These include (but are not limited to): Force majeure, war, the threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, pandemics, health risks, and changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, acts of God and any other similar event.
